Two weeks ago I had a pet photography session. I photographed two cats for an absolute animal lover. The cats Rusty and Downey were saved by Jacquie and she has given them an awesome life. It was nice to photograph animals because they're a challenge. It makes you appreciate National Geographic photojournalists! Here are a few photos of Rusty and Downey.

Texas baby!!

I had the honor of capturing the P family a few weekends ago. Originally from Connecticut, they now live in Texas. They were awesome! Baby M was just the cutest child ever. I've been busy what can I say!

I know, I know! I've been a slacker blogger. I've got various excuses for this and good ones for that matter! For starters, I'm pregnant. Yep, we're so excited. I'm two months and so very fatigued so that's been one reason why I've been a slacker. Secondly, I have been booked every weekend for the past 4 weeks. So between editing, resting and doing my regular thing that I do, I've been busy!

I've had some awesome clients this month. Fall brings out the best in everybody! One of my shoots last weekend was actually for my sister Merissa and her daughter Olivia. My two favorite shots are here...

Savannah

I had the pleasure of photographing Savannah yesterday. It was the perfect day. Savannah's mom bought pumpkins and mums and it made for an awesome background. Savannah is the most laid back baby ever. I could have done anything with her and she just rolled with it. Here are some of my favorite shots.

I'm back...

I was on a roll with keeping up on my blog then I got off track. I'm saddened to announce the passing of my grandfather. I spent the last month spending as much free time with him as I had. My photography was put on the back burner.

Weddings...do I do 'em?

I've gotten a few inquiries regarding weddings. This is the one thing that I do not photograph. Because I work full time it's hard for me to devote an entire day to a wedding. The editing alone takes weeks and it would be too much for me. It's just not my gig.

90th birthday bash

I can only pray that when I turn 90 that I'm as feisty as the subject of my last photo session. I want to say thanks to Anita for allowing me to capture your families special party! I had a blast!

Honesty, blogging and photography.

I'm a very open person. I understand business is business and personal life is personal life. One says you should not mix business and pleasure. Poo poo to that. I think business is more fun when you mix pleasure. It makes life that much better!!

The center of my blog is focused around photography but you may get some bits of information regarding my personal life as well both good and bad.

Right now my family is in the middle of a rough patch. We'll get through it. I am booked on Sunday to photograph a 90th birthday party at Grassmere Country Club. I'm so excited. It's going to get my mind off of all that's been going on with myself and my family. And a 90th birthday party to boot...how fun is that! Grassmere Country Club is where I had my wedding reception so it's going to be nice to walk in and remember my wedding day!

I'm a blogger

Wow...here she is. The blog.

I feel like a secret agent. Nobody knows about my blog. You'll know about it when I launch my new website in a few weeks. There's some news...a new website and a new blog!

For those of you who don't know me, I work full time and I'm also a mom to a toddler. Balancing my time is tricky but I manage. I manage it so well because I do what I love. Photography is an escape and I hope that blogging about my photography ventures will be an escape for me as well.
